Well so far we have had the BEST luck with this trip... the weather here is unbelievable!!! Jeans and t-shirts in Alaska weather Amazing!! Yesterday spent the day in Juneau, went to a glacier, ate at a salmon bake the mom's went shopping, sis, I and sue's hubby went up this tram thing that overlook the town and it is MAJORLY high up there... completely freaked the sis out. Took some really cool pics of the ship from way the heck up a mountain.
Other news... the first day out most of us spent Saturday slightly green... the motion of the ocean wasn't all that pleasant... open water and lots of WAVES = sick people on ship everywhere!! Not us particularly, but a couple in the group wheren't feeling the love. But we did do all the usual cruise lame stuff... bingo, dumb shows etc...
Today is Skagway and looks to be beautiful from my current seat (that would be the balcony 8 stories above the pier) heading out to go do some hiking and a train ride into some old gold town.. don't really know I'm just along for the ride not all in charge here.
